If anyone have a problem, like I had, with missing DirectX in Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix (but you are sure that you have the last version of DirectX), then follow this steps:

1. Start the installer as usual, get to the message that tells you about DirectX problem, do not press OK, keep the installer running and go to your desktop

2. Click the “Start” button, then click “Run”, type “regedit” without quotes

3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\App Paths\hp.exe in the registry tree

4. Find the key titled “DirectX Installed”

5. Change it’s value from 0 to 1

6. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and close Autorun.exe process

7. Now start the instalation again. You’ll skip the DirectX check this time.
